So, it's official. FIA will change the European Rallycross Championship to a worldwide competition from next year. You have to watch this now, this season was brilliant and next year will be even better.
When Global Rallycross finishes their season, I will do an in-depth comparison between the two championships.

So what does this mean for GRC? I thought they were now allied with the FIA?

There's only one thing that could make the series even better:
Co-drivers allowed to throw fruit at other cars.

I hope they go big. ERX is a far superior program to the turn 1 wreck-fest that is the GRC

Indeed. GRC was cool the first year, but when they started running at Bristol, Charlotte, etc., it all just fell apart.

That's an interesting question. I think they will continue to be more or less an American championship, with some events with X-games in Europe. Their mission is to get Americans into rallycross. Don't know how they're doing though.

That happened to me in high school!
Ripe bananas are what I would recommend!
